Features Of The One Step Water Softener:

Convenient Bypass Valve. Can direct unconditioned water past the filter for lawn sprinkling or to service the unit.
Programmable Timer.
Automatically initiates backwash of the filter. Each cycle can be adjusted for your particular water condition.

NO CHEMICAL REGENERANT. No salt, potassium permanganate, chlorine or any other chemicals are used. The system oxidizes iron and it collects in the filter media. Periodically, the iron is flushed from the filter tank using water only.
INCREASES pH. The system increases pH to aid iron reduction.
REMOVES SULFUR ODOR. Rotten egg smell and corrosion resulting from hydrogen sulfide is eliminated *. *(removes up to 2-3 ppm of sulfur. Requires an air-water pressure tank).
CONSERVES WATER. MacCLEAN filters use only a fraction of the water required by ordinary filters to regenerate. As little as 50 gallons is required for our most popular model.
